Key remote help

My key remote won't lock or unlock anymore but it starts the car. Anyone know what is wrong with it or can be fit or reprogram. Thanks anyone. 2004 M3

does it pop the trunk? arm/disarm the alarm? Do the interior lights come on when you try to unlock the car?

do you drive the car frequently? as the key battery is charged while it's in the ignition...

I use that key everyday. Use it that morning and later that evening stop working. none of the button is working.

hmmm...then I would say to see the dealer and have them reprogram it....or FIX it...

they should honor the fix....at least I would not pay for any of it....

yeh the same thing happened to me last night, it was fine then when i came out of a restaurant it would not remotely unlock it. it wont lock either. also when the car is locked from the inside the car wont unlock unless you hit the button in the middle.

Went to get my car for service and told them that my key not working.....so they see and try to fix it.... came back later on the day to pick up my car and they said the key is still no work so they ordered me a new one with no charge. cooooool......

I had both my master keys replaced this way. I have a Vert and the range on the remote just sucks. I often have to use the under the chin trick!
