Now: Alpina Z8. Next: B12 7er?

The X5 4.6is and the Alpina Z8 are signs that BMW may be cracking the doors open for Alpina in the US. The very end of the Z8 impression article in the new AW states the next Alpina to hit the US may be a 7er, followed by the nre 6er.

AFAIK there is yet a B12 version of the E65/66 in the Alpina lineup, so...

Looks like Vince has quite a bit of a wait ahead of him if he still wants a B3 here.

Actually, it's true that ALPINA has been developing the B12 E65. No spy pics as of now. Last I heard, Burkhard was testing the B12 at Nurburing.

ok...B3 S might take a while now....

Unfortunately Alpina won´t build that car

But as Alpina is going to increase production from around 800 cars to 1500 in a couple of years I guess you will see some nice Alpina´s in the US too
