Could some one help me choose?
Im not sure what to get. Its between the M6 or the 650I..
Im not sure which would really be worth it. I know the M6 is about 112K new and a 650I is about 85K new. WHat are some of the differnts between the 2? Other then the horse power, and the paddel shifters?? If you could please let me know, I would greatly appreciate it.. |

The M6 is a supercar at a fairly affordable price. The 650i is a comfortable luxury cruiser which handles very very well.
The M6 has an SMG transmission, which is an acquired taste. Its auto mode is not a real automatic - very jerky. The manual transmission will be available in a few months. It does not come in BMW's version of automatic - Steptronic. The 650i comes in any transmission version you want. The Steptronic is as smooth as silk and almost as quick as the manual. But you can set and forget, too. The M6 sucks enough gas and burns enough oil to make a Saudi Arabian sheik happy. The 650i is a bit more frugal. If you want a daily driver you would go for the 650i. If you have several cars at your discretion, but want to drive a supercar a lot of the time, then you might want to go for the M6. Has this been of any help? |
