You can do it man! I never worked on a car untill I got my BMW 4 years ago. Just make sure you bleed and bleed and bleed the air out and you will be fine!

I'm looking at the same kit and am about to pull the trigger but I am hesitant...hoping that I can do it myself. It's just a machine, right?

It's the ultimate driving machine, ahem. You can do it. If you get stuck just take lots of pictures of what you can't figure out and we'll help you get it done. I knew barely more than you when I started with mine. No worries, you got this.

Does the kit come with instructions or anything? If you plan to do more repairs yourself, some auto stores sell books to help guide people on repairs too. Just go for it

There are highly detailed guides (DIY's) out there for nearly any job to do with an E36.

http://www.bimmerdiy.com is a great resource.

ABS light??

I just bought a 93 325is which has a rear drivers side shock issue. I have yet to take it apart and check the issue. I am not getting the Popping sound or anything so im pretty sure its just a busted shock. Anyways, there is also an ABS light on the dash. The car stops great. Could this shock issue cause the ABS light come on?

Likely a separate issue. I'd lay money on it being an ABS sensor.

http://www.bimmerforums.co.uk/forum/...ensors-t68402/

Here's how to test them.

The front window fogs with 30 seconds on a day with any humidity.

If one fuse blows you never know what else could go wrong b/c of the crazy wiring being different per vehicle.
