Sorry to hear about this Bryce. My thoughts go out for your brother as well. I'm sick of what's happening to American society.......... the violence, the sex crimes, the disrespect for people and property................the list can go on and on.......

I spent the majority of my day at the hospital with my brother, he is in very bad shape. He was stabbed 3x in the chest, 1x in each thigh, 1x in the left shoulder, and a large gauge through the abdomen where the perp tried to gut him like a buck He has tubes coming out of his sides to drain his lungs and a surgical cut from below the belly button all the way to his upper chest. I'll know a bit more when my inside contact with the authorities gets me a copy of the reports.

Bryce-

Good rule of thumb is if all holes that were opened either before or in the operating room are now closed, you're ahead. Pooping into a bag is teh sux0rs. Is he able to talk to you, or still intubated?

All hope for the best.

I bet this guy scared small children, he looks like an absolute freak. If you go to http://hcso.tampa.fl.us/ , choose Inquiries Online / arest inquiry / then enter WAIT in the name box and hit enter, he should be the very first one, click on the blue i and be prepared to spit any beverage in your mouth all over the monitor

I spent a little while at the hospital today and now I've got some questions. First you need to understand that they are not only dealing with a trauma patient he is also suffering from severe schizophrenia and hasn't been taking his meds. Paranoi has him convinced that they are trying to hurt him rather than help.

OKm so I missed two because the Dr saud there were 9 seperate entry wounds He has tubes coming out on either side in the lower armpit area. I assume these are draining the flyid from his lungs ? Should the fluid still be coming out and seemingly still very bloody ? He also is diabetic but that was unknown when he was brought in, will the blood transfusions matter ?

Bryce,
What a mess. Hope your brother recovers quickly.
Can't answer the diabetic/transfusion question.
