Arrow February 2007 3 Series Sales Report

February sales of the new 3 Series reached 11,735 units which is a 28.4% increase from the total sold in February, 2006. This year almost all the units sold were the new E90-E92 series while last year’s sales were all of the E46. Total sales of 21,932 units for the first two months of 2006 represents a 24.0% sales increase when compared to the total sold in the first two months of last year.

For comparison, Mercedes Benz sold only 3,868 C Class units in February 2007, up 30.0% from the 2,976 units sold in February, 2006.

Lexus IS 250/350 sales totaled 3,937 units this month, an increase of only 1.4% over the 3,882 units sold last February.

Please note that I am report only the United States sales data.

Um, Fred. Last year at this time the E90 sedans (which outsell the coupes, remember) had already been out for, what, 6 mos. Sure the coupes were E46s. But to say that last year's 3s were all E46s is simply not true.

Thanks for being observant.

I combined the E46 and E90 numbers and then forgot that I had done that. Remember that it's hell to be old.

If the admins would let us edit our post for more than I few minutes I could have corrected my statement.
