E82 / E88 1 Series (2008 - 2013)
BMWs throw back to the iconic 2002, with a renewed form and function. The smallest car in BMW's line up but still packs a punch. Available in coupe or convertible, powered by either an inline 6 in the 128 or the twin turbo rocket sled 135.

Taiwan Dealerships now taking order for new 1 series

My friend was called up by a salesman and said that they can now accept orders for the new 1 series hatchback. They have it in a 130i. No good for me as I already have a 130i n a 4door. I want the new 135i and not the new 130i They said that the 135i was not available for order as of now. Maybe later I hope the new hatchback does not have all the squeaks and sounds ours came with

Out of curiosity (because I can barely read chinese, go figure), for the 1-series, are any of the other engines/models sold in Taiwan. Like a 120i or a 116i?

I would not mind having one in Dubai when my 2 units finish (If I decide to keep them). I think that 135i with the twin-turbo would run quite hot with the heat in Dubai during the summer months. Those fans will never rest and that engine would be running pretty hot though. If I got a car like that for Dubai, I would definitely upgrade the radiator and intercooler on that car.
