Help! idrive screen is blank

So i started my car up yesterday to find that my screen is completely blank. Nothing at all shows up. Radio and all other electronics are fine. Its near impossible to go from radio to CD as its like using the idrive blindly.
Soonest the dealer can service my car is almost two weeks away! Anyone else ever have this problem?

Do you have an aftermarket radio set up. Same thing happened on mine the day I was selling it. They told me that it was due to the guy connecting the signal to my fiber optic wire or where he has spliced it. They said it was going to have to be replaced, but the guy got it turned back on for me by rerouting the wire.

No aftermarket stereos or electronics. Problem disappeared the day before i brought it into the shop. They couldn't explain it. They did replace the amp because of the whining noise coming from it. It was unrelated but nice of them to do none the less.
