An other BMW upcoming newbie
Hello all,
Well my wife kinda punked me out and this is how I got here. I have been a fan of sportbikes for longer than we have been together. She quietly expressed her fear and disapproval of sportbikes. However, everything came to a screeching halt when our son was born. She said the bike has to go!! I basically replied (thinking there is no way she would agree to this) if I must sell my bike then I want the car of my choice. I want a BMW 5 Series E60. My Yukon will be sold as well...She agree to it. So now I'm in research mode. Trade in values are almost an insult around here. I had my heart set on an 07 530i but what I was offered for trade for my Yukon was not even close to par  I guess I missed the boat on the 07's so I guess I will be getting an 08. We'll see.

Thanx for the warm welcome. I am pretty excited about being close to getting my 1st BMW. As long as the guy that offered to buy my truck on Tuesday executes I will be "in there" I have the car in mind. All I need is a good dealer to deal with. I am open to any and all advise.
