E38 1996 Navigation -> Gone for a walk

OK, so I bought an E38 750iL today. All-in-all in pretty good shape for its year, 1996. Only a couple of minor things I could find during inspection. One being that even though it has the old-style 4:3 screen and a Navi unit in the trunk (with Navi CD inserted) there is no 'GPS Navigation' option showing in the top-most Menu. Popping the CD out and in didn't bring anything. Any ideas?

Sorry Bro. I don't know how to solve your nav issue and I haven't had any responses to my post on this forum either. Just wanted to show some empathy cuz when you have technical issues there are little answers, but when you have rims you have mega.

Workshop tells me it is a bad video module. I will leave it since I plan to upgrade to MKIV nav and I'll need to replace the video module with a later version at that time anyway.
