Welcome to the wonderful world of extensive repairs. You'll soon be good friends with one of the Service reps, you'll start getting recognized for being there so much. An you'll get used to BMW having your 7 about as much as you do. Good Luck!!

I got a 2006 750i with 12k miles with no issues except I keep getting hit in the rear bumper.

Just got the car back yesterday after waiting 6 weeks for a repair appointment and this PM another moron rearends me again!

THis car is too much of a magnet. All these wannabees keep gawking and running up my a#$.

My concern is these taps will jar the electronics loose.

Curiously I have no issues with the car, past or present. It runs great. Maybe BMW finally got the bugs worked out by 2006?

Still IMO, this car is far superior to the E320 I owned. Had to return to the dealer same day I took delivery. And engineering wise, the MB had really unforgivable problems, melting rear tail lenses, leaky head gasket.

I plan to keep this car a long time so I hope I have some good luck.

May your troubles be few.

Glad you are having a good driving experience. Sorry to hear your bumper blues.

Oh, one other note. Comparing an E320 to a 7 Series.

OK..., It is time to join the group. My `02 745Li after 18k. miles is in trouble, service representative become my friend. This time engine problems. After couple repairs without results, this time BMWUSA sugested major reconstruction. For three weeks, service is trying to replace, I belive, half of engine parts. At this point nobody wants to tell me what was wrong, but they told me, engine will **** new.
