I don't think that's a complete spot. Part of that footage was used on the international M3 web site.

Why does everyone like that car so much? Just because it's new and has a BMW and M3 label on it?! That car is disgusting looking and is a disgrace to the BMW M division and everything it stan---stood for.

Since when am I supposed to compromise good looks for a good driving car? I want both, thats why I like BMWs, they usually make good looking good driving cars. I just hope the M3 drives amazing or it will be a loser.

The new M3 looks fine, just the interior is not a bling bling thing for moi.

I can't see how anyone would think the car is hideous. It's a pretty safe design for BMW compared to the other cars in their stable.

Definitely looking forward to test driving one once my lease is up.

If E92 M3 coupe is not your taste, you probably won't like the E90 M3 sedan as it may use the same front/back end from E92 coupe.

I like the car.

I'm glad some don't like it, that way I can get mine cheaper. ED in 2-3 years.

Look, all I was saying is, if I were in the market for an M3, I'd be looking at the top 3 best modern BMW designs ever, the E46 M3, not the bland looking E92.

I agree that the E46 M3 is a classic. But, I've owned one since 6/01 and by the time the E92 comes out I will be well ready for something new. Time moves on, and while the E92 is not perfect from a design standpoint, it should be dynamically great and I think I can work with the design to improve it. And I wouldn't call the E92 version bland, but maybe overdone in some areas (front and rear fascias, powerdome, mirrors). Each to his own--no worries!

When I saw the E46 M3 "concept" debut my jaw-dropped and I immediately put a deposit down. The new M3 is a little embarrassing because it has a lot of tacky design elements that really stray away from BMW's cold, teutonic no-nonsense style that has always appealed to me. It's designs like the E34 M5, E36/E46 M3 and 2002 that appeal to me.

i agree the e46 looks way better. BMW did a rush job with the E92

I would prefer the new M3 V8 engine in my E46 M3 engine bay. That will be perfect. I can't stand the E92 body, but E90 looks fine to me. Yes the new M3 sedan will base on the E90 body. The E90 body is look way better than the E92. The coupe rear 1/3 body looks too long and narrow. Just not my taste.

The E92 for some reason doesn't photograph very well, but actually looks quite good when
seen in person. Also, I actually like the way that the 745 looked before the refresh and the 750..

It's the five series that takes some getting used to.. But, anything is better than the upcoming Porsche 4 Door. (ugliest car ever made?).

Of course, if BMW could hire the guys who design Astons , then maybe the brand could really go somewhere..

When they redesigned the 750 to make it less "offensive" they took away its character, now it looks too conservative, not as aggressive as the 745. The 750 front looks better though IMO.
