Thumbs up I Found Yellow H11 light bulbs

Hey guys, I know alot of people including me wanted to get Yellow H11 fog light bulbs. Well, good news, I finally found them online from Supreme Power Parts. They are the only ones that have these bulbs. Remember, these bulbs are for the 2002-on 325i pin-hole style fog lamp housings. I will give supremepowerparts.com a call in a day or two to order them. They also have hyperwhite H11's too which will match the HID xenon's. I will most likely get the yellow ones. Now if i can only find a way to get the fog lamp housings off. Anybody know a way???

Bobby

I always liked the way yellow fogs look under xenons, the IS300's come from the factory this way.

And uh, wouldn't the owner's manual say something about changing that bulb?

I'm not sure, but I think you have to take the bumper off to get back there....

Strange indeed. And the removal of the bumper to change one freakin' bulb would piss me off. I'd probably just replace the whole thing with an M-Sport model when the first fog bulb goes. Now THAT'S a bulb replacement!

I did read somewhere that you can take off only the glass lens of the light, and then there are the screws behind it

Bentley says the foglight assy has to be removed to get to the bulb. Piece of cake on prefecelift sedans. No real details...

Barring that, you could always take the bumper off.

Haven't tried yet, but I'm told that you can turn the wheels away from the side you want to remove, and remove a black panel in the wheelwell that is right behind the foglight.

Having to remove the bumper for this little thing would be a bummer... I could ask the service advisor when I bring in my car for an oilchange.

Of course you can, the bulbs in the pre-bangled models are a lot more common. Go to any aftermarket parts store or online store and find it.

That's not gonna be very easy. Even if you remove the 5 or so screws and clips (depending on bumper), that panel is a single piece that goes forward from the wheelwell and attaches to the bumper. It attaches to another piece to the inside of the foglight adjacent to the radiator uprights, and won't come off without removing the bumper.

But the bumper comes off pretty easily...

The way I did it was remove the piece of the grill that corresponds to the foglight bulb I want to replace. The '02+ 325i grill is a 3 piece grill. Remove the right piece to gain access to the right foglight bulb and vice versa. You do this by just tugging gently at it. Then just reach behind the lamp and turn counterclockwise to take out the plug. It seriously takes less than 2 min to do.

The bulb is H11 55W
