SMG on the new M3???

I'm a little bit confused that whether the new M3 is going to have SMG as a standard option or not even an option at all. In the previous posts, it seemed like SMG is a standard, but the new articles don't mention anything about it.

From what I can gather, the car will come to the US initially with the manual only, and then add a new double-clutch tranny (similar to the VW/Audi DSG) as an option sometime early to mid 2008.

Yes, that's the general consensus. US production to start about December this year; DCT (or whatever it is eventually called) might start in March 2008.
