Exclamation Heater on all the time mixed with AC Help

Can anyone please help me, i have a 1999 328i sedan. e46

My car is always hot inside the cabin, even though the temp setting on my temp control is set to 59f, when i turn the AC and put on auto, i get a mix of hot and cold air through the front vents and only hot air by my feet and hot from the defroster. I checked two switches in the cabin but them seem to be fine. Does anyone have any idea why i get heat only on my feet when i have the AC set to 59f, its worst on manual because then i only get hot air to what ever vent i choose.

I would appreciate your help very much.
Thank you.

Tony

Welcome to the 'fest!

I'd take it to a mechanic and have them check it out. Sounds like a stuck valve in the ducting system.
