Hello Bimmerfest! New owner here!
Hey everyone. New owner of a two week old jet black Z4 3.0si here. So far, very happy here. I've used it to carve some of the canyons here in southern California. I forgot how well a car could handle! I'm trying my best to avoid exceeding 5000k RPMs for the break-in, but its tough.
The car is equipped with the sport package, xenon h/l, dark wood trim, and heated seats. I also bought a trunk storage compartment and a mesh wind deflector to make it a bit more comfortable for longer trips. My new Garmin nuvi 370 is awesome too. I think my next purchase will be the new Escort Passport 9500i once I get my finances back in order. I've been detailing it with the Zaino suite of products. So far I'd give their polishes an 8 out of 10 since the clarity of the shine hasn't been perfect, but I fully admit that it might be user error (applying too thick). I hope to provide an update in the near future. Looking forward to meeting you all in Santa Barbara in a few weeks - we'll be at the BW Peppertree. See you then! Brian
