VF5 Supercharged 528i / 530i

I'm just curious how many of US where crazy enough to supercharged their E39 528i or 530i and what other mods was considered during the transformation. Please post some pics too. I'll start:

97 528i
VF engineering 6 psi S/C
VF engineering Racing bypass valve
EMP Stewart water pump
Supersprint Sport muffler
M Tech body kit
Level 10 Tranny mod

Question How crazy do you need to be?

Whats the heartburn with Dinan? I am completly satisfied with how their products continue to perform on my 328I.

"96 328I, Dinan 3 supercharged, HFTB, FFE, Stage 1 Suspension, Strut brace,
ZF 6 speed mod, E46 M3 flywheel, clutch & PP, LSD,

Price, price, price. S3 "transformation" for an M5 is $60K-$70K. For that, I can buy a whole lot of (some other) car. Like a nice used Ferrari.

Got my S/C installed last October. So far I am very happy with the performance and no problems yet. It was a perfect match with the level 10 tranny upgrade. She is my daily driver and a total sleeper.

What kind of differential upgrade did you get? Also can you post pics of your S/C 530?

We put in a differential from an auto 528. This raised the the ratio to 4.10 She now cruises at slightly higher rpms (70 @2800ish)

When my wife finds the camera we will post more up to date photos.

Nice clean install. I have an auto tranny so she cruises 70MPH at around 2500 RPM. Put her on WOT at that speed and she launches like no tomorrow. Looking forward in seeing more pictures. So there's two of us now. I know of two more from the bimmerforums and hopefully they will post here too. Just trying to keep a tab of how many blown 530/528 are out there. Thanks.

Maybe worth doing though...

How many miles do you have your car? If I was a E-6 or above, I would be right with you. If you don't mind me asking, how much was the SC and tranny upgrade with labor? I love the pics.
