Sta Barbara to be crawling with Lambos same weekend as B-Fest!

This is going to be nuts. Can you just imagine the cruising on State St??

There will probably be more Bimmers in Santa Barbara than there are Lambo's in the US, just a guess. Still, this is gonna be nuts.

whelp, so much for my rickshaw pulling some trim for me w/ those Lambo's in town.

Damn! Now I have to decide which car to drive?

Just the Southern California chapter, looks like, and they'll be sticking pretty close to their hotel (replete with covered parking to protect the little bambinos from the ravages of the night). They'll probably be wondering why so many people in SB drive Bimmers...

The last time that they were in town they came with the Ferrari Club. Mostly older guys, they cruised State St. in the evening, and were lighting them up (i.e. burning rubber) whenever the reds lights turned to green..

True, but I guess my sarcasm wasn't obvious enough (since I doubt most of the girls out clubbing on State St are looking for sugar daddies in Ferraris or Lambos)

Hmm, I didn't know that. To tell you the truth, I've always mostly ignored Bimmerfest before.

As a local the cops are a pretty good bunch, much better than many other places in SoCal. There really aren't that many of them first of all, but maybe the fuzz imports help for the event.

They are definitely out to raise money off tourists, I'll give you that.

I would bet from Milpas by the beach up through downtown you guys will be alright, but Calle Real/La Cumbre/Las Positas/upper State will be a deathtrap.

Regardless, the Lambos will get much more of a pass than any BMW ever will.

Well, just a thought, what if the Lambos met at Earl Warren Showgrounds on the same day as Bimmerfest?

That would be really nuts!!!

Regardless, Italian and German automotive engineering sharing the same weekend at the French Riviera of the West!!! Sweet!!!
