When I first read this I thought, this guy must have an M3, but I guess the other guy just can't drive a stick.

Not to change the subjet but has anyone seen that supercharger that goes in the air intake in the latest Roundel that gives 295hp??

There are a few superchargers available for E46s... the most popular seems to be the centrifugal Vortech blower adapted for the E46 by ESS tuning in Norway.

I find these kits really alluring... my heart says "yes" while my brain says "no... you'll toast your engine and/or subframe." In any event, I won't consider any FI kit until I'm out of warranty.

I feel exactly the way you do Plaz....... I want the power also, but I know I'd abuse it. I'll wait for the warranty also. That or the M3 first.... The question is.. can I be happy with $307/month 330Ci or should I go M3 for $600/month just to have the best.... I haven't justified the double payment yet....... note I put 28k down. Personally I've tremedously happy with what I have, but I always find myself talking about "what if"

I don't see the point of the charger. As Nate pointed out, it's still 20 sec slower than the M3 at the 'Ring. And the charger will push the 330's price into M3 territory

I'd like one on my wagon...
But that has more to do with the fact that there's no other way to get a faster wagon.

towards an M car in the next couple of years. It just
makes more sense. (I think we've all been tempted
on some level.)

I could afford the 600 a month but after the test drive with 3 other people in a M3 (not a real testdrive) and insurance quote I was scared...... I won't look back next time

Rufus, Don't take this the wrong way(I was there once too) but if you are still living at home you can't afford an M3.I see in your earlier post that you realize that to some degree.It certainly isn't like your stuck with a dog,Enjoy!
