New Audi S5

I never thought I'd say this but BMW should take a lesson from Audi on design. The new S5 is absolutely gorgeous, it looks just like an Aston V8 Vantage. I hope at least the performance is good on the new M3

Well, the S5 (and soon to be RS5) have a nice interior, but there is something about the side character line I do not like. In general, I love the A4/A6 shape, but the A5/S5 doesn't do it for me. Just MO; need to see one for real.

audi claims 5.1 sec...shifted probably by a professional driver...sounds slow for a number 5 and with the letter S.

I agree with you. It looks nice but some of it's curves are putting me off.

Oh the horror......

It does look very nice though. But, it's heavy and too bad AWD is the only way to get it in the states. That's a major deal-breaker.

Figured I'd post here instead of starting a new thread. I was set on going in next month to put down my deposit for an '08 335i. After seeing pictures and reading initial reviews and impressions, I think I've got to wait until the S5 is released and take it out for a spin. To be honest, I think it looks much better than the 335 overall, however the front end on the 335 I do like much better.
