Yes, but BMW is also now offering wood trim in the M3.

Eucalyptus wood was offered throughout the E46 M3 model run, although as a priority one option in the USA.

And came on the E36 M3 (luxury pkg in USA) as well.

Rare and will probably be rare on this generation M3 as well.

Priority one option? Can you tell me what that is/? I had the dark burlwood on my 650i and I really liked it.

Note the weight: 3641 lbs. Thats about 8.7 lbs/hp, better than an M6 vert. Plus its only 70lbs heavier than the 335i. It will take a lot of modding for a 335i to beat it.

The weight is per EU standards (90% fuel, 68kg drive, 7kg load). Actual curb weight (unladen) is 3,487 lb. 335i (per BMWUSA) is 3,571 lb. So, that's 8.4 lb./hp. On the flip side, the 335i's turbo will be much easier to mod for more power than the M3's V8.
