Yikes. I am in court enough! Court time = lots easy money on my days off.

Brad,

You'll have to stand in line. I already offered that option. Of course, that was only if he would disappear.

Really scary. I hope it was just an attempt by the OP to be humorous (in an odd sort of way). Rather, Jon and company should be thanked for their yearly and year-long efforts. They worked hard to ensure that each Bimmerfest is enjoyable and are entitled to whatever compensation that may come their way. If you feel that they are undeserving of your money or that the Bimmerfest gatherings are not meeting your expectations, save yourself the grief and don't go. Distilled to its essence, paying attendees may be considered enthusiatic customers/participants, not shareholders. Accordingly, Jon and company are not obligated to divulge any financial information. They do not have to file and 10-K's.

Only goes to prove, "No good deed goes unpunished."

If you guys believe this, he actually PM'ed me his email address, so I could send him his $20.00.

I'll first need to see his receipt (ticket) and check into his "financials", since I will be an official shareholder of Lucky579.

I can't believe this thread is still active! Hilarious! Let us know if he takes the $20.

Pick him up by his cuffs, flip him over and shake him. You'll probably have a lot of cr@p fall out.

Also, I wanted to buy a car there and someone said I needed to pay for it. I told him that I had paid my $20 at the gate and wasn't this like Disneyland where everything after that was free? Can you set the guy straight for me? I really want to get his car. I think his name was Lucky579 or something.

Sir Mal - This has got to be the funniest post I have seen in six months. My hat's off to you.

This thread is a corker.

Unfortunately, as the event has grown from 50 to 5,000, so have our expenses...

And we no longer have Marc Cutter available to stroke a check.

Jon, I'm with the OP on this one.

After all, $20 is big money for us BMW drivers.

Next year, for my money, I want:

1. A massage (w/ happy ending) by the hottest Asian girl around.
2. A BJ from the Victoria's Secret Angels
3. A painted portrait of me nude with my car in front of the Earl Warren sign, framed and signed by the artist.
4. Two year subscription to Playboy
5. A bottle of expensive Champagne (for me to pour on hot girls boobs)
6. Expensive Cigars

And Jon, while you're at it, I would like an itemized invoice of this years expenses: I need to see where all of this money is going. I would also like:

Your full name
Telephone Number
Adress
Social Security Number
Bank Account Numbers
Pin Number
Routing Numbers
Credit Card Numbers

Thanks in advance Jon.

I am, because it's a non-operating system. I hate the guy for being better at marketing than other companies with better products. It's his fault I have to run umpteen "internet condoms" on my machine so I don't get a virus. And why does it take 10 minutes to reboot?

And I hate it even more now that I have to call up, spend time on the phone with India, and manually type in an 80 digit number every time I have to reinstall it on the same machine!

/rant

And I still think the OP needs to put down the crack pipe. He pays $20 to go to a club because he knows the DJ gets paid, yet $20 to spend a day in the sun and help out people in need bothers him? Talk about fvcked up priorities!

I also cannot believe this thread is still alive and that I posted to it again. I need a life!

(topic change) buying the software then using the piracy cracks keeps you legal and more productive.

Your rant is very mild You should see what we say on the 6er forum about BMW's decision to use Microcrap OS for the iDrive.

That must be why I couldn't figure out how to change the radio station in the E60 530i I had as a loaner once. In my business, we call them Micro$haft, or M$ for short. Money, money, money, money, money!

I think the E46/E39 era cars will be my last Bimmers for a long time.
