Anyone have X5 pics that aren't Titanium Silver?

Parents are really interested in the X5 but they are not too sure about the colors. Everyone has silver, that's all I see around. Just curious to see any other rare colors like Topaz, but please post any pics of X5's. Thanks

You can get X5's in any color you like as long as it's silver.

This is our X5 sitting on the lot before we took delivery.
We wanted the car for February 2002 but were warned that we should get the order in "early".
It arrived at the dealer mid December and we finally picked it up around the middle of January.
It was never used as a demo, and was quickly put on the back lot. At the time of initial inspection, the odometer showed 1.7 miles.
At delivery there were 1.9 miles and a full tank of gas.

One of our M Rdstrs crowded its way into the shot.

That's the first time I see a real life shot of a 4.4 with the SP, and not having 19's, I wasn't sure how they would look but I really like them. Thanks for the pics.

I also heard they are not going to make a 4.6 for 04, What about the 4.4, They are supposed to be coming out with the 4.5 which has the 745's engine. Is the MSRP going to jump up because of this. My parents didn't want to spend the money for a 4.6, they were ok with the 4.4's price with PP and SP, and a couple of other options. Does anyone think the 4.5 will be priced higher than this?

Too early to speculate... I'd factor in the standard annual increase. The reality is that the X5 is going to get an awful lot of competition this year.

The FX45 is going to kick the X5s butt in performance... for a whole lot less money. (Yes, I know it's an Infiniti... but that may be a positive for a whole lot of people--not around here of course)

The Cayenne is coming out with a base 340hp V8. Also, the Touareg will have a 310hp V8 at the same price point as a decently loaded x5 3.0. (See the C&D article where the Touareg V8 comes in #1 and X5 3.0 is #4--- SUV's were price capped).

Both the FX45 & the Touareg/Cayenne twins will equal or surpass the X5's onroad abilities.

The new V8 will even things up a bit for the X5. Judging from the competition... I'm not sure how clever of a thing it is for BMW to jack the prices up even further. The V8 Valvetronic is the one to wait for.

Well my parents didn't really want to wait, maybe they will just get the 4.4 because they don't even want to wait for 04 really. They definitely aren't going to look at the VW, Porsche, and Infiniti(which looks terrible IMO), If they don't get the X5, they will probably go for the Lexus GX 470 or the 03 Navigator (they are getting rid of their 01)

I don't have any pics, just took a quick peek at one (it was raining) The New Orleans car show is this coming weekend in the Superdome, I will bring the camera, but hopefully the parents like the X5 and go get one then I can post some pics of theirs

Here's a rear quarter. Not great composition, but you can see the color really well.

Here's one with the 17" rims and snow tires installed after the first wash. It started snowing before I got the armor-all on the tires. Cannot wait to put the 19"s back on it.

Thanks. Now, just for fun, here's how it looked Jan 6, 2001 after 4" of snow did a number on the 19's. Wicked hills and curves should be avoided before the snow plows come through. I slid across the double yellow line on a nasty downhill at 15 mph and hit 3 other cars coming the other way. Each individually and nobody else hit each other...thanfully nobody was hurt and nobody had a lawyer in the car with them.

The car with the snow tires is actually the 2003 model I replace it with this past November. Love the color and the car. I had comfort seats in the '01, but went with sports this time around. I see most people prefer the comfort, but my ass isn't so wide yet that I prefer sliding around on the seat to feeling glued in. The adjustable ride height is a great option not available in '01, plus there was and 8 HP (whoopie!) increase for '02.

BTW, my wife was born in NO, raised in Slidell. We miss the south...especially in the winter time and at dinner time. Some day...
