I just can't get used to the term "RICING". Everyone should know that the people who "RICE" their cars nowadays are mostly young caucasian males and their girlfriends rather than asians. I think it's an offensive term for some people.

I cant agree with you more. I really dont think Asians were really involving in the Rice-out Scene much. If you ever watch the Import Tunner on SPEED channel, BAMMMM....you will see what am I talking about.
Maybe we should change up the term a lil and call them Civic, Focus, Escort, Cavalier, Neon: WHITE-OUT or WHEAT-OUT?

On the same boat, I agree with the same comments. If you watch the Speed Channel they have a show called NOPI tuner vision and man when you see some of the cars their.... I don't need to say anything else.
I don't see any Asians their except for the hot bikini girls.
I am Asian myself and all the cars I have owned have never been "Riced" out.
Would be nice to hear some other term than "RICE".

chill out guys.. its a term that probably derives from the fact that the cars being riced were asian (japanese) not that the people doing it were asians.. im asian myself and love rice (the food that is )

+1, japanese motorcycles have been called rice rockets since, oh forever, and me being a white devil have never associated the term rice (anything) to people of asian descent, everybody knows when the term is used its referring to civics, corolla's or whatever that those cars are so often terribly dressed. let's try not to take it personally, theres enough politically incorrect whining in this country already.
