E39 (1997 - 2003)
The BMW 5-Series (E39 chassis) was introduced in the United States as a 1997 model year car and lasted until the 2004 when the E60 chassis was released. The United States saw several variations including the 525i, 528i, 530i and 540i. -- View the E39 Wiki

Need A Smooth Suspension

i have a 98 528i and i just hit 100k and need suspension, whats the best suspension for both ride and handling?

I'm liking my Koni FSD's. I used to have Dinans setup with Konis and this new setup is better. The ride is comfortable and stiffens around corners when it needs to. Check out the FSD technology.

I was thinking about the Koni sports, but after hearing about the FSD's, I am starting to re-think...
I know FSD's are not for track use, but have always wanted to put my car on the track some day...
