HELP engine conversion 318 to 320

hi all and thanks in advance. i had a 318 cab and it blow a gasket so i ripped it out and drop a 2.0l in everyting is perfect apart from on little thing. when i turn the ignition on the fuel pump relay clicks contiuously, causing the car to flood (i think) now this goes after a lot of foot work. i have changed everything i think i needed to it has its clocks ecu. now this is really doing my head in had auto elecy out he dont have a clue

If it's loud clicking, it's probably the starter clicking. Try charging/swapping the battery.

That seems most likely to me - with EFI, you're not going to flood the engine unless something else is going badly wrong.

when ignition is switched to on postion and not cranked the blue relay clicks to pump fuel but the relay is contiously clicking causing flooding anyone have any ideas please
