Turbo E65?

So now that I have your attention, does anyone know of any company selling a turbo kit for an E65? I had my ride for sale but wasnt trying to hard to sell so now I am thinking of something wild. Anyone heard of someone trying this? If so please send me links/contact info.

best bet is to find a shop and get one custom built.

yeah never heard of one, but i definately will be right behind you if/when you find out how.....

vf-engineering is working on one.

i think if it were to ever come out casues something to break on the 7 series it would cost alot of money to fix.

turbo on a 7 series.lol. I would love to see I-drive light up like christmas.hahahaha. Errors and warning lights everywhere.

If you are interested I know of a few very reputable companies that can do custom turbo setups and they might even be interested in using your car to prototype a turbo kit, but that would all depend in the demand. I definitely think it can be done without having issues as long as it is done correctly, I don't feel the IDrive will cause problems. PM me if you are interested.

I checked out VF Engineering and it seems they have a supercharger kit listed, but no price. Where did you hear about a turbo kit in the works? I am going to contact them though to find out more about the supercharger because it looks like they do great work too. Thanks for the info.

I'd go with a supercharger instead of a turbocharger as they already have supercharger kits available for the 7 series. Go with a company like VF Engineering or Alpina.

really expensive, really fast.. turbo 760 would be something i'd be interested in seeing!

I just realized you asked for turbo charger, not super charger. I think vf eng is super charger only, but I am glad you found the info useful.

alpina would be your best bet. they may or may not have a kit but it would be worth giving them a shot. the alpina b7 is on par with an m5 and maybe a tad faster.

Thanks for the feedback. I just thought it would be nice to have a 500hp 745 for a price less than a alpina. I will look into this.
