Wink CSL Steering Wheel Button mystery solved

OK, referring to the pictures which atyclb posted on this thread, a question was asked about the 'only' button on the steering wheel.

The button is called the 'DSC Sport' button. When pressed, the DSC system is switching from the 'Standard' mode to the 'Sport Mode', which is calibrated for track use.

Compared to the 'Standard Mode' it kicks in much later.

So why the hell can't we get this on all the other cars?

I'm certainly not against traction control... But it's always too freaking invasive in street car.

You can get that feature.

But you have to buy a Corvette.

why would it have to be on the wheel aren't wheel buttons for things that you need quick access to? isn't having the DSC button like having the trunk open button on the wheel? or recirculate air button?
