Man i love VW's and BMWs i had an immacualte MK2 golf syncro that i picked up dirt cheap fixed up and got hit by an uninsured driver. that broke my heart man i put hours and hours into that car. i fixed it up but i was a student by then so it was with a real buget approach. it then got stolen.
I needed something fun and fast so i got a Knackered 320 with about 140k. I am going to run it into the ground so i might as well do it in style. it would be idiotic to do a resto on its far easier to shop around for a nice straight second hand one.
I was hoping to wind you guys up get some banter second hand cars are a minefield if you cant spot a dodgey car you might as well go buy a New corsa and listen to speed gabba in maccys car park

I was never under the impression we were not. A bit of friendly fire is never a bad thing yeh i am a complete **** for not taking care of my wheels but there was little or no point in it. it would be polishing a turd to be honest.
I am going to probably get a mint 323 or 325 but that will be a few years away, one of those one in a million one owner full history only driven on a sunday jobbies like my golf was.

You stole it!!! you bad bad man hahaha just jesting. yeh that golf i was on about was legendary. It was one of 300 ever imported the 4 wheel drive modle before the tasty one with the intercooler i would have made a fortune on it because they have gone up in value the last few years. i managed to get it for 500 quid probably the best think i have ever bought. it handled beautifully.
The bm is more fun to drive and takes a bit more talent which is what i get my jollies off but that golf was wicked around country lanes

Wow, you guys are so civil to each other over here in e36 land. The guerilla warfare posters over in the e90 forum could definitely learn a thing or two.

As to the original topic, F0CK U Mr. previous owner for... oh wait... my car doesn't have a previous owner.

I think my car's previous owner must have been a car mechanic school where they let the frist timers strip it down and then put it back together....in the dark.... with one hand tied behind their back....armed with one screwdriver, a 13mm socket (no wrench) and a case of lager each. Somewhere in that classroom is a box with some of my car's bits still in that they couldn't squeeze in the right place

Pirate you remind me of a camp counselor whom everyone respects and looks up to. when things get rough, even two people could be hating each other, you manage to make them feel bad and apologize.

It's probably because you have that shinny new M3.
