1990 525 with 2 fuel pumps..turns over rough
Here it goes bought this car 6months ago.I've had the plugs,Distributor,Mass Ari flow,Fuel filter all replaced.I'm still having startup issues takes a good 3to5 minutes to trunover Once the car gets going it runs mint It has 2fuel pumps 1 underneath the hood and the other in the tank or located by the tank...
The past owners..One was a girl who's boyfriend was supposively a BMW mechanic..So who knows if this guy did a bunch of Frankenstein/Mickey Mouse.. Also the car belong to a FireChief if you flick the lights flash and all..So I'm not sure if this additional fuel pump was a Performance MoD...... Ernie |

on old BMW's and Porsches, i have a rule of thumb . . . Never let the gas tank go below half a tank, period. A race driver gave me that tip and it keeps the crud out of the engine!
