Just ordered my V1, how do I install it? - Bimmerfest

Ok, I just ordered my V1 radar detector.. :thumb:

I want to hard-wire it into the car, I have heard people mention they wired it in near where the sunroof control is..

Is that right? Are there any DIYs with pictures out there?

Any suggestions?

Cool, thanks! I knew I had seen a DIY for that a while back..

Question: Any "preferred" side of the mirror to mount it? (Driver's or Passenger's side)

driver side, so u'd be able to reach it easily to adjust volume or to mute those X-bands!
