A pic of me & my 328is:

Diesel crank, smoothed crank, J&E pistons, lightened & smoothed rods, mild porting of head, intake & exhaust manifold, mild cam upgrade, worked TB, Supersprint muffler, Koni sports (broke them) then Bilstien sports, factory 15" BBS wheels, short shift, front swaybar attached to strut tube (like modern BMWs), custom dyno chipped,...etc.
My DD for ~ 10 yrs....

Mein Auto: 1989 BMW 325i Convertible
Smile My Pride and Joy! E30

I am a BMW enthusiast. I have owned several, but this 1989 E30 325i convertible is my lil jewel. I bought it with the intention of keeping it forever. I have done a great amount of work on it. Rebuilt the upper end of the engine completely, replaced all timing components, rebuilt the automatic transmission, replaced the front end steering components, replaced the cooling system completely, installed new struts and shocks, painted it, and replaced the convertible top. Now I am just working on a few small things, like replacing trunk lid and engine hood shocks, detailing engine compartment, going to buy new OEM front bumper for it, and keeping my eyes open for a nice set of custom chrome wheels for it. Then the exterior is done. Next project will be getting all the leather interior upholstery replaced, and carpet replaced. Everything has been done in the past 18 months, so if I get the rest done in the next 6 months, I think it turned into a good 2 year project.

Many think I am putting too much money and time into it. I don't. Like I said, I'm am keeping it as a daily driver forever. It has relatively low miles for a car 23 years old, and when I am done, it will be like brand new and a great, fun car, from a great BMW time of production.

not sure what you mean, those are the normally the brake ducts, mine lead nowhere due to having to hack stuff up to clear the bigger tires.

Question Orange yellow colour

I feel a bit silly asking this, but some time ago somebody had posted a wicked Yellow/Orange colour sheme
My Silver metalic 323 needs to get fresh paint Click image for larger version

Either I respray the respray the same colour, or I go for something really different.
Since it will run a Turbo motor I guess I do not have to stick to the stock colour sheme
Can you maybe let me know where to find this or post another pic of this ?
PM or eMail me please

Here's mine when I first got it put back together a few years ago. 89 325is that I bought with a smoked automatic transmission at 211k miles. Converted it to a 5 speed, refreshed the engine, put in a set of our convertible sport springs (didn't want it too low I drive 90 miles a day) and Bilsteins, Beyern 15" wheels, and lots of other goodies.
