i might be just restoring the IS and just using it as a DD. i would like my next project to be an early model. i believe i mentioned this in another thread. eieio4tn must have seen it, and im going to assume you didnt see it Mark. thats where the confusion is coming from.

Ehhhhh

She looks rough, nothing a little wash won't fix, but its been way too cold to wash or wax it. I'm not going to get the car legal to drive just so I can take it to the local car wash with heated water. Amazed that the car started and ran after sitting for 2 years, horrible rod knock and all. Got it for $300 so I can't complain. Came with the car, extra rear end, extra front end, another m20, and all the interior to change it to black from tan except for the dash.

Aha, well, good luck when you go and see that project. Hope you don't end up helping and fixing big eff-ups. I've been there many times when going to see what friends are working on.

Sweet mustang, btw. Is that a '65?

Ah, 1 year off. Well, you think you need another project? Two e30s and a Mustang...I'd be pretty happy, myself. I'll be extremely happy with just having my 325i and my Jeep (even tho its probably getting traded in soon because I'm tired of fixing Chryslers).

the bronzit is For Sale and the Mustang is my uncles. he had it here because i was supposed to teach him how to work on it. its back at his house now. ive always daily driven my projects which is a real pain. cant drive while its being worked on and such. now i have the red 325is so i am going to restore that and buy a seperate car to modify so i have no down time while the project is bieng worked on.

Looks a lot like mine, except mine is a 325i (4dr) and it looks like you don't have an engine in the front with the way its raised up in the air.

Nice, you should definitely do a swap. I'm going to FINALLY pick up an engine with the trailer today. Had been waiting on my Jeep to get fixed because my truck is 2wd and everywhere is sloppy since the snow and rain. Depending on what I find at the junkyard, I'll either come back with a nice m50b25 and m52b28 to do a stroker, or If I'm lucky, an s52. Low boost on s52 = win.
