hey i got a question my car is leaking water into the inside of the car and i donno were can it be from. all seal are in good condition. were can it be from ???

Are you sure it's just water and not engine coolant. Is there an odor to it? It could be a leaking heater core, which is located behind the right side of the center console, or you could have a bad drain seal. Check door & sunroof seals also. Also check that the drains in the rear of the engine compartment aren't clogged

Im officially back in the E30 game!!

Been looking for a good reliable candidate for a while, but this one had to meet certain conditions before I went to look at it. The only thing I knew for sure is that it HAD to be a 316i Manual Coupe, so from that alone your should know not to expect big plans for it.

with the rest of what i was looking for,i was willing to compromise on to get the right one. Luckily the only compromise i had to make was the colour, I really wanted an alpine one. Ive had two alpines in the past but both had been crashed!

Brought it off the old man that drove it off the lot in 1990. As you can guess, full service history as a result. Is a coupe and Titan Red. Needs a new clutch which I will be doing myself and will probably need a few other bits for a WOF, but an all round tidy car, has had seat covers and a dash mat all its life so interior is great, in tan (fabric)



Quite happy with it so far. Before that photo being taken, I had already set to work rejuvinating the paint. You can clearly see the bonnet done, and ive made a start on the drivers door.

(No thats not my E36 behind it before someone asks)

Hi everyone, my name is Nicole and I'm from Perth in Western Australia. This is my 323i
Over the next few weeks I am going to be doing loads of DIY work including (hopefully) reupholstering the entire interior. If anybody has advice on that or suggestions for anything else to do to my car I'm very interested. I am on a few bmw forums and I use the same username.

It is! My 323 was my very first car and I loved it, so I thought that the rio would be the perfect gift to my sister for her first car. She needs a few upgrades but it's a fairly A1 e30. Bought it with only 180xxxkms on the clock and it runs like a dream. I almost gave her the 323 instead but I was much too attached

Hi all, just wanted to say Hi, having a lot of fun with an 1989 auto convertible I bought last year (series II) in Alpine White. Generally very good condition, do the odd bit myself but generally goes into the local garage for the guys to do their stuff, done 124k miles but had the top half of the engine redone just before I bought it as the old owner had managed to blow the top half due to leaking hose.

Not had any issues with it, flew through it's MOT with £40 of repairs, very small piece of welding on cill and an advisory on the front struts, so got them done for a further £80. Apart from me snapping off the rear view mirror (grr) and trying to find an original radio everything is in really good condition, in fact I couldn't believe how good the interior is, only one small tear in right hand drivers bolster, which I will replace asap. Trying to get it back to as an original state as possible, hence looking for an original radio. Had a new hood the year before I bought it. Couple of minor parking dings which I wil get pulled out, but not broken the paint so you have to look hard to find them.

I love driving my car, much much more so than my one year old volvo xc60, the buzz of rear wheel drive with the drive out of corners is great. Will try and post a picture below.

Any advice on where I can get a proper rear view mirror and fixing would be appreciated!

I agree! BMW badges would look much better! Also possibly get smoked indicators and lower her a bit then she'll be sweeeet!
I actually like that colour too! Normally Im pretty boring about colour; black, white, silver, grey, and sometimes red. But I like this blue Nice bimmer
