God's Chariot. The E30 was produced primarily from 1982 through 1991. The cabriolet was the one exception which was produced through 1993.

BMW E30 318i 1992 M40 (RHD) 4 door.

Nearly killed me this morning. Needs fat tires, maybe a rear brake swap for disc brakes, and definitely body work. I am hoping for 5 lug swaps, springs, bigger brakes, new boot lid, and an SR20. Wishful thinking doesn't hurt.

Here's mine. 89 325iC, AW (or whatever cheap paint job the OP chose) on beige. The body itself is very clean (no rust) and so is the interior. Right now, it's sitting in the garage waiting for me to replace the head. Just haven't had any time at all. But luckily, this is just my weekend car, so it's a work in progress.

ESM 002 and a drop is also next on the to-do list.

Here's a picture from Tail of the Dragon:

Sweet. Don't the cheap paint jobs make you shake yer head?
Some days I covet the 6 cylinder but I'd rack up a lot of tickets.
For now I keep the 1.8 up at high revs.

Well the paint itself is somewhat respectable... but it's just the overspray EVERYWHERE that really bothers me! There's even white paint on the radiator fan. How do you even do that?

Honestly, it's not hard to drive the 6 cyl in a civil manner, I don't have a crazy turbo set-up or anything. Now the E92 M3 I've been eyeing

My E30

I just bought this car Feb 2012. So far so good, a few leaks here and there and some trans noise (Getrag 260) but nothing I can't fix.

Here is my e30. The combination of the paintjob and the seats are amazing, I just love it!!

It is from 1989, the previous owner bought it in Belgium and imported it to Sweden. I even got the original type cerificate.
149000 miles (240000km) and it runs like its new.

car is all original, that wing was on there when it left the dealer lot. its an original Zender wing in mint condition. i HATE it.

i picked the car up for cheap so the $150+ wing will recoupe alot of the money from buying the car. i will start a thread on that car soon.
