AferMarket Stereo....Problem...
ok, ki just installed an alpine deck into my car, but when it plays a CD, theres no sound...the deck is reading the cd but theres no sound comin out...but the radio works tho....i can hearsound from m radio...but not when i play a cd....could it just b my Deck?or is it some wire problem...

Assuming you've tried multiple CD's right?
I'm sure the problem is your deck itself. It sends all sound from all sources (CD/Radio) through the same pins and wires for the speakers, so I wouldn't imagine it could be anything else besides the CD or the deck. I'd be almost 100% sure it's your deck.

yea im sure its the deck too....all the wiring are connected good....also im sure it is the right harness....so it mite b the deck....

i dont know if this works for alpine units but i know for some units there is like a "master reset" or somthing of the sort on the back of the head unit, that has been known to fix issues like that.
but if you would rather not deal with it... and its new... just take it back and say it was DOA.
