328 vs. Eclipse

Old race with the 328 and Eclipse. Just some fun, I plan on buying an M3 e36 next. Anyways just joining the forums.

You were running a 56 trim turbo on that with 16PSI???? Please tell me that wasn't on stock internals!



On second thought, please tell me that lasted 50,000 miles like that on stock internals. If so, that's exactly what's going on next! Lol. I always thought a stock M50/52 would only be good for about 7-8 PSI max without going everything forged, ARP hardware, metal HG, etc.

TBH the vid is very hard to see and not terribly impressive or detailed, so you aren't missing much. What caught me is the wording saying it was a 56 trim turbo pushing over a bar of pressure.....DROOL!

DAMMIT!!!! And there is no way I'd trust a DSM w/ 16PSI on stock internals, it's gotta be upgraded. Man, that sucks...lol.

Dude you guys need to learn some stuff about dsm's... First of all 2g'scan withstand 400hp which believe it or not stock internals! safe tune would be around 350hp and can be a D.D. And to the guy whining about street racing, man you have to know something. Most people run on the highway.Wreckless "ricers" driving would be swerving through traffic in pure daylight. Which as you can see the video above isn't wreckless and was on the highway. I mean if ur that rich to take your car to the track everyday go ahead. Please people dont hate on cars you dont know anything about.

Anyway, Supra's are DAMN good cars. DSM's are NOT 2JZ Supra's. DSM's can make power, but are NOT good engine's by my standards. I cannot see a DSM running 380 horses at 1.5bar for a daily driver. Perhaps for an occasional driver/weekend car, but unless the internals have been upgraded, I can't see it lasting long.
I didn't say they were slow, just that I wouldn't trust it at that high of pressure on stock internals.

Chill dude, and go back to dsmforums.

Tons of dd on stock longblocks run 20+psi do some research and see for yourself. and my pos tsi will blow the bolts off your bmw toy.

Ok, I'm just saying I wouldn't trust one for a DD for long term. That's all. Your Eagle may be fast, but it certainly doesn't have the looks or comfort of a BMW. Or cornering. Give me a road course and you'll be gone.
