I've never had personal experience with Bosch plugs, but I've been hearing a few quirks about them here and there. NGK has a fantastic reputation. I personally carry the NGK's on my E46, and they're fantastic, so that's what I'm going to have to recommend.

Thats was an example to compare (for the rocket scientists among us)with, not a distance opinion.

I have GNK Iridium installed in my 2.5i Z3. Happy with the results. It is not like the difference between bread and tortilla, but the plugs are working fine. No I did not get 100% more horse power or torque. The plugs run clean and do the job. They were worth every penny I paid ($7.50 each). I don't know if they are much better than the platinum NKG plugs I replaced though... your thoughts?

Is this based on fact pirate, or a personal opinion? People usually change plugs at 60k and rarely notice any difference.

I usually change my plugs because some cool new plug comes out and I want to try it, not because my old ones are shot. Stupid. I know.

All spark plugs should be removed and checked every 30,000 miles - even if your BMW is "low maintenance" - you're told to change spark plugs at 100,000 miles. This prevents the plugs from seizing in the block, causing expensive repairs down the road.
Taken straight from Autohaus. Change them at 30k if you wish. No big deal I assume, it's only a $50 and 30 minute job.
