2007 X3, DICE, Navigation, No Premium

So I have the DICE adapter, two hours and a vehicle and is pulled about and I don't have anything working. No sound, no acknowledgement from the head unit/nav screen that there is anything plugged in. I can't even get "CD1" (the CD changer) to show up as an option.

Does this suck or is it just me?

After reading the forums this is either a DSP problem, which I don't know if I have or not or I have to somehow pull the head unit and do something there.

Does anyone have an ideas? I'm going to give it one more try before I put everything back together and ship the device back.

UPDATE:

I did the swap of the white wires on the head unit; still no apparent communication between the head unit and the device, no menu option for CD1 or CD Changer. I'm starting to think the unit itself is DOA. The package from UPS did have a crushed corner...

I put mine in this last weekend, and, pun intented, no dice.
I can see the track names, but if i use the cd-changer plug, no sound but a really odd clicking... Now, if i use the OTHER plug, i get sound... but only to the front speakers and the radio says TEL all the time. figured out the other plug was for the phone interface.

so, what's next all you DICE Fans?

At least you got some feedback, I totally crapped out - no feedback at all.

And the car is all torn apart.

Hey guys I can help with the clicking sound. That is data bursts being picked up because you have the dice or its wires to close to the navigiation or envirionment controls.

If it goes away when you step on the gas that is most definitely it.

Try moving the wires or the DICE unit.

I tried mine in both the trunk and in the center armrest, same result. there is NO music at all, just the feedback sound. Why does it work with the other plug though? the phone jack?
