Before and After - New leather sports seat and 3-spoke M-Tech steering wheel

It has been a while since I posted some pictures. I recently got a set of leather seats from another coupe and have also just put in an three spoke steering wheel and had the center door pannel done in leather.

I like the leather, I would love leather in my bimmer.

lol. i actually like E36's without leather better. I know, I'm nuts but i really dont like my leather seats at all. they suck in the atlanta heat

Long story but I got it from a guy who imported it from the UK for his car but was not happy how the leather matched his interior. He decided to sell it as he had another wheel organised.

Fitting was not too bad. The wheel came with the slip ring. The air bag connected straight up but the horn had to be spliced. Also needed a different steering column switch bracket to match the different slip ring. I had the install done rather than do DIY as the Airbag light also needs to be re-set.

The new wheel has a much better feel to it. I am surprised at how better it is when driving in the hands - given that I primarily did it for cosmetic reasons.

if i have spare 300 euros, i just might buy that mtech steering wheel which my car is supposed to have!!! The previous owner replaced the steering wheel. Arsehole.

I would like to sell the old seats. There is probably not much point keeping them - takes up a lot of room to store. Hopefully they will be of use to someone. The material is still in very nice condidtion.
