that this is a godsend. And I'm not even religious!

I like the blue just as much, hell, maybe more since it's real! Now I've sent the guy an email, hopefully he hasn't sold it yet. I noticed the salvage title and have asked for the VIN to carfax it, and I will ask about local shops that service BMW's so I can get it checked out. I've heard that you can get a salvage title for anything from theft recovery to driving the car off of a cliff, but if the car checks out do I really have anything to worry about with the salvage title if it was in an accident or something that caused damage? Hoping for some insight

328i to 318i....you will notice a BIG difference!!
The 318i is a great car though

Yes... I will notice a big difference in my wallet
 Being a student and all I don't really have the money to spend on the later models... the 318 has crazy low rates on the insurance quotes I have gotten.
