My guess is an X5 owner who wants to ride high but not carry 2-1/2 tons of weight. That is why the RX350 has done so well. People want truck room and height without truck ride, or gas mileage.

One reason I did not buy a V8 X5 is the 13mpg. For christs sake a suburban gets that.

IIRC, this thing is built on the X5 platform. Performance and physical characteristics aren't likely to be all that much different.

Saw a pic while reading Motor Trend out at the beach today. not too keen on it.

for some reason I'm thinking dodge caliber, not aztec....but not impressive either way.

It looks too much like a cross between the Aztek (or Dodge Caliber, as someone mentioned) and the X5. It looks too close to the X5 for my tastes.

Here's the problem with meetings:

Now we all know that meetings don’t work.

All of them — with no exceptions — are a complete and utter waste of everyone’s time. Show me someone who goes to a lot of meetings and I’ll show you someone who doesn’t have a proper job.

All the great inventions and great leadership choices come from the mind of one egomaniac who then gets the job done. Everything after the initial idea is formulated can be achieved by e-mail.

Meetings are where good ideas get watered down and bad ideas are forced along because no one ever has the courage to stand up and say: “What the bloody hell are we doing here?”

Actually compared to the R-class, the X6 looks great

You're right. Look at all of the ugly 'Benz we see out there...did someone say they're the R class, God they're ugly...station wagon, smaller mini van wanna be, f-ugly small SUV, I dunno. . ...People must only get them b/c of the brand.

Same will happen for the X6.
