What is this Connector? 1988 325is

Hello all,

I just bought this car and I found this connector just laying open in the engine bay. any idea what it is for?




Also the coolant sensor is not hooked up and there are two connectors laying next to each other.


Any help? I am still waiting for my manual to arrive.

The top one is a aux power supply for you to hook up something that needs 12V and is fused power. The second ones I can't tell but would cut the zip tie and stretch them out and look for something they plug in to.

swiss is correct on the top picture. the second picture almost look like a connector for fog lights or some type of light up front. Maybe even horns. Once could be a fog light and the other your horn. On the e30 it had horns on both sides up front close to the fog light setup.
