That S4 is making a lot more power than the 320 you listed on the video links. The exhaust alone is probably worth 15-25hp on a large displacement turbo engine.

But it's an auto, so who cares. AND, that's an M3 Cab, which is significantly heavier.

In the end, a Mustang Cobra would eat everybody's lunch for a lot less money.

Technically it means that the turbos are different sizes/spin up a different rates (2-stage system). It makes for a flatter powerband than a single turbo or a true 'twin turbo'.

Thumbs down

Jimmy-

All I can say is . Seriously, you need to take those kind of activities to the track.

This isn't the first time you've posted something like this and got this type of response from me. I really don't think you're "cool" or what you have to share is anything but reprehensible. The next time you do something like that, remember what the consequences could be. Frankly I could care less, if you get injured or worse because of your own stupidity, but make sure you don't harm others. I've taken care of too many innocent people in the Emergency Dept. who've been injured because of fools like you. I've seen people die before my very eyes, and the families of these victims are really inconsolable.

Just consider what type of evidence these videos will serve in court if you're ever sued for injuring someone on the road due to your reckless behavior.

The first two vids (Jimmy vs. S4 and MBZ vs. S4) don't seem to be on crowded streets, and look to have been filmed on an expressway of some sort late at night. The last 2 look like higher traffic situations and/or neigborhoods, which significantly increases the dangers involved. Either way, Jimmy's exhaust sounded friggin awesome!

Well, I confess I too am under the impression the S4's more powerful than that...

Anyway, I'm in no position to dispute data posted by Jim. Just sharing my impression...

Yup. I thought that wasn't exactly "fair"...

You've obviously been away from NA for too long. The Cobra is making 390hp and 390lb-ft now and runs the quarter mile in the 12's.

Jimmy -
Nice vids and nice ride.

Ever since I got rid of my 97 TT Supra nothing has satisfied my need for speed- so I'm a bit jealous of your ultimate driving machine.

But my driving habits have also changed a bit and I find myself driving a bit slower these days.

Have fun with what you are doing but just try not to harm others in the process. Could be a kid on a bike or a dog running into the street at night- just be careful.

We can't knock this guy for breaking the law either. How many of us drive at or under the speedlimit? How many of us go thru a yellow traffic light because we know we can beat the red? How many of us have ever driven after consuming more alcohol than we should?

We are all guilty to some degree of possibly harming others on the road. Jimmy may be taking it a bit too far but it's just as likely you'll get into a serious rear-end collision because the person behind you was putting on lipstick or changing the station on their radio.
