335 Coupe picked up on Monday

... so I did break the "12 hours rule", but better late then never ...

The car is absolutely stunning ... and yes, a message for all those unsure about Coral Red interior: simply said a BEAUTY!
And also, it is nowhere even close to the "light red" as it seem on all the interior bimmerfest posted pictures. It is definitely more on the dark side then light ... (I will try to take a few later and post it here).

So now me and my wife are off for the 4 weeks "Eurotrip" ... through Czech Republic down through Austria to Italy and southern France ...

That Blue with Red is a classic color combination that was very popular years ago on high end cars like Rolls Royce, etc. - it looks great - enjoy.

Montego and coral....fantastic color combination. Did you have a difficult time convincing your SA to order that combo? It is not an option on the bmwusa website permits. While I was discussing the possibility of getting the coral with Monaco Blue, the SA that was helping us said he didnt recommend it and probably wouldnt take that order for fear that the dealership would be stuck with the car if I refused to accept the car when I saw the car in person.

It's NE Bohemia (Czech Republic) close to town Jilemnice (Google-map-it) ... weekend retreat for my folks ... BTW that cabin is around 140 years old

I saw it first here on bimmerfest when somebody picked it up earlier this year. That guy's story was pretty much the same as mine: I have asked dealer about it, she said it's unavailable. I said: "take a look at this bimmerfest post" and she said "not available for import to US .... then in 2 min later another email from her: "WAIT, I am the first one to admit mistake" .... she has put it through the BMW order system and it let her ...
Personally I think that car wouldn't last a day on the dealership lot - it's a screamer!

When I traveled through the western part of the Czech Republic after the fall of communism (still Czechoslovakia back then), I saw numerous weekend construction projects going on in almost every village. I was told there was a common practice to join forces amongst a few friends and build a weekend retreat for each one of them by rotation.

Gorgeous country, I'll go back at every opportunity I have.
