Central locking probs

Not long ago I bought my mothers 318is off her.
She had it from nearly new I flippin love it .
Anyway when I got it off her the doors werent locking properly .
Infact you had to push on the drivers door to get it to lock.
Took it to the local BMW dealer and He told me my door had dropped through wear on the hinges !
Well that turned out to be total bollocks.
It was the locking plate in the door jam . If you look at this there is a small button in the back of the plate when the door closes it hits the button and holds it in operating the the window sealing circuit when the doors are locked. If the button s worn the window dont seal and the central locking doesnt work it just locks then unlocks .
Cost me two pound to fix and about 10 mins work .
I love my car !

Good for you
Now go tell the stealer that he's got verbal diarrhoea

If you don't like the way I'm driving...get off the pavement.
