E90 key into E36

Someone who have tryed to program the E90 key to fit to E36, remote function.

Sure, it's possible, but why? The E36 doesn't have the electronic options such as Comfort Access, Home Link, and advanced electronic immobilization that the E90 has. If you cut an E36 key from an E90 blank, all you would have is a $300 E36 key that still just opens the doors like a $45 E36 key.
