Help with driver's seat swap?

Hi,
I've got an '85 528e and the driver's seat back frame is broken.
I bought a replacement seat that has both the seat bottom and back. The seat bottom is in worse shape than my current one, so I only want to exchange the new back for my broken one.
Before I tackle this project, I want to ask for any advice on things to watch out for, trouble spots. I don't even know how to get the drivers seat out of the car. I would appreciate any advice as to where I can look for the procedure to do this project.
