E30 (1982 - 1993)
God's Chariot. The E30 was produced primarily from 1982 through 1991. The cabriolet was the one exception which was produced through 1993.

Mein Auto: looking for an e30
Need after market air intake..info

I would like to know if i need an adapter for an after market intake and if so where can get an adapter.an what kind of filter is good to use. any input would be well appreciated.

I assume you mean a cone filter? I wouldn't do it. But if you're going to, yes you need an adapter on your afm. I have one sitting in my storage building right now cone filter and adapter both. Make me an offer.

Well, if you do a search you'll get a better answer than this, but over time,,,the oil used to clean the filter can gum up your air flow meter...there are other reasons too...

the one good thing i can say about the cone filter is that it did speed up the time it took for my dme to re adjust itself after disconnecting the battery. used to take three days.ot it only takes a couple of hours. other than that it just sould cool.

pepboys has all the adapters youll need



weapon-r filters are good but will cause you problems later. buy a K&N filter for sure

BUY A CONE FILTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thay sound great and give you more horsepower when your car is moving....which is when you want it.
