Actually, it has not been discussed if that is the only thread (and I saw that one). That thread does discuss the driver's seat sensor but only in regard to what happens to a moving vehicle after a certain number of seconds without a driver. My note discussed something different.

This is pretty cool, though I'm sure that most of you noticed it already.

If you don't close your doors completely, they close for you. It freaked me out the other day when I was talking to my friend as I got out of the car, and didn't close the door all the way.

It sure is a cool feature , but be Prepared to tell people who gets in don't slam the doors , cuz no matter what people forget cuz people aren't used to this they dont get in a 7 every day, You Do .

I've got 4 kids who never can seem to close a door. They actually went for their first ride in the car yesterday and all they wanted me to do was make the car talk. I need to find a way to program the voice command to say something other than "pardon me". Something like "Hello Michael" in the HAL voice would be really cool whenever I started the car.

Its sure would be nice saying hello Micheal or i was thinking about , Please don't slam the door, every body gets amazed when you do a voice command thing and it work i use it in calling People by saying Dial name Etc.. , but it takes a while to train the SVS on your voice .

How about "did you wipe off your grubby feet before getting in the car?" With four kids that would be useful.

I agree , well my kid is 2 months old so I do all the opening, closing , seating so i don't have this problem yet , but also i do have the all weather OEM mats for that same reason , my interior is gray and carpet gets dirty super fast , They don't look as classy as carpet but they hold a lot of dirt and they are easy to scrub and looks like brand new again

yall might already knew this but i thought of sharing for thoose who doesnt know, you be havining the cursor on the cd changer icon , i always thought that you have to turn the idrive clock wise to reach cd 4 which is 8 clicks however i noticed that you can go either way with the Idrive in all menus too here's a pic

Momo is there a certain way to train SVS for your voice I had no idea and the thing never did what I asked so I just stopped using it.

I trained mine by storing like 20 phone # s on it and it was bitch cuz it comes to like the last number and read it wrong so i had to redoit , spent 2 hrs that day . eventually it will pick up

I thought this is cool :-)

What is the "system test" for. I know it probably does what it says but it never ends. I did this test a while back it never stoped...

@ asaseaban: That's a nice trick!!!! I reckon you do need to be a bit carefull with those menu's? Are there any really nice options in it?

But why doesnt it end?

I have a problem with my logic 7 sound system, it is not responding in my 2004 745li. i can access it but when i try to increase or decrease the range, it just dont work. And i have the same problem with the equalizer. So now i dont have this incredible club sound in my car anymore. Can somebody help me out?

I replace my brake linings two days ago but the warning dont go away. Can somebody tell me how to reset the "brake indicator light", and the "replace brake linigs" message?

My secret move is you cant ghost ride your wipe, it throws the car in park from drive after 4 feet of me being outside it.
I tried it 3 times tonight lol, warranty will save the tranny dont worry.
